Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has submitted a list of 12 commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The governor’s request was contained in a letter dated Thursday, June 12, 2025, and addressed to the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji. The letter cited Section 192 (1 & 2) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), urging the lawmakers to give the request urgent consideration.
Here is the list of nominees forwarded to the Assembly:

- Hon. Ayodele Akande
- Engr. Alabi Johnson
- Alhaji Amidu Takuro
- Otunba Adewale Akinlosotu

- Dr. Tob Loko
- Mr. Olaolu Akindolire
- Hon. Sunday Olajide
- Mr. Omoyofunmi Segun Henry
The House is expected to begin the screening exercise in the coming days.
