Popular Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana, has publicly declared his biological son, Alex, as his official next of kin.
The announcement was made via his Instagram page shortly after his adopted son, Chidi, shared a viral video vaguely insinuating that he holds the position.
In the post, Obi Cubana shared a photo of himself and his son, Alex, with the caption: “Ancient and Modern, eyes on the ball! @dtwalx aka Next-of-kin!”
The post has sparked mixed reactions online, with many interpreting it as a subtle response to Chidi’s earlier video where he stated, “Nothing do my shoulder, I just realise sey I be next of kin.”
While some social media users applauded Obi Cubana for clarifying the matter, others felt the public declaration was unnecessary.
