Tinubu Appoints Late MKO Abiola’s Son Senior Special Assistants

The announcement was made through a statement signed by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The statement confirmed that the appointment became effective on November 14, 2024.

The statement highlighted that the appointment aligns with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008, as amended.

Prior to this role, Jami’u Abiola served as the Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.

President Tinubu urged Abiola, who is the son of the late Chief MKO Abiola, to collaborate closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and apply his expertise to advance his new responsibilities.
