The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ekiti State Chapter, has joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and his wife, Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi, on the joyous occasion of their 36th wedding anniversary.
In a statement signed by the Chairperson, Mrs. Adewumi Ademiju, and the Secretary, Mrs. Funmi Falae, NAWOJ described the couple’s union as “a true example of love, friendship, and shared commitment,” noting that their journey together has inspired many within and outside Ekiti State.
The association praised Dr. Fayemi for his dedication to leadership and service to the people, while also commending Erelu Bisi Fayemi for her tireless advocacy for women’s rights and empowerment over the years.
“Your marriage of 36 years is not just a celebration of love but also a testament to partnership and shared vision. We celebrate you both and pray for many more years of peace, joy, and fulfillment together,” the statement added.
NAWOJ Ekiti wished the Fayemis continued happiness in their union and strength to keep making positive impact in society.
