FULL LIST: Countries that offer Nigerians five-year multiple entry visa

Nigerian passport holders looking to travel abroad more frequently for business, tourism, or family visits can now enjoy more favourable visa conditions from several countries.

These countries have introduced five-year multiple entry visas for Nigerians, making it easier and cheaper for frequent travellers to enter and leave without needing new visas each time.

Such long-term visas are especially useful for business people, professionals, and those with families abroad. However, applicants must meet certain requirements like good travel history, clear purpose of travel, and proof of financial capability.

Below are some of the countries currently offering five-year multiple entry visas to Nigerians:

  1. United States of America (USA)
The U.S. B1/B2 visa covers both tourism and business purposes. It is valid for five years and allows multiple entries. Nigerians applying must attend an interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate and show proof of financial stability, travel history, and purpose of visit.
  2. United Kingdom (UK)
The UK issues long-term Standard Visitor Visas with options for two, five, or ten years. Nigerians can apply for the five-year option, which allows several visits but only six months’ stay per entry. Applications are done online, and documents showing intent to return and financial capacity are required.
  3. Schengen Countries (Europe)
Some European countries such as France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain grant five-year Schengen visas to Nigerians with consistent travel records. These visas allow a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period and cover travel across the 27-country Schengen area.
  4. South Africa
South Africa gives out long-term multiple-entry visas, valid for up to five years, mainly for business and official travel. Nigerians with valid business interests or travel history to South Africa can apply through the South African High Commission with necessary supporting documents.
  5. India
India also offers five-year visas to Nigerians for tourism or business. This visa allows multiple entries and is granted to applicants who have a good travel record, clear reason for travel, and proof of funds. Applications are submitted online via the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC).
  6. Kenya
Though Kenya normally gives short-term visas, it offers five-year multiple-entry visas to Nigerians with valid reasons like frequent business trips or family visits. Interested applicants must apply through the Kenyan Immigration Service or the official eVisa platform.
  7. United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The UAE now issues five-year tourist visas to Nigerians meeting specific requirements. This visa permits multiple entries with up to 90 days per visit, which can be extended to 180 days per year. Applicants need to show financial means and previous international travel history.
