Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on Sunday paid an unscheduled visit to the Government Medium Density Estate, Behind Pastoral Centre, along Ikere Road, Ado-Ekiti, and promised infrastructure upgrades for the community.
During the visit, the governor assured residents that the estate’s roads would receive government attention and that a power transformer would be provided to address electricity challenges.

He said the road intervention would be handled in the same manner as ongoing works in the GRA Extension at NTA/Pavilion.
Responding, the residents thanked the governor for the visit and his promises. They pledged continued support and cooperation with his administration.
Chief Imam of Ado-Ekiti, Alhaji Jamiu Kewulere, who is also President of the League of Imams and Alfas in the South West, Edo and Delta States, said the planned road and power interventions would have a significant positive impact on the welfare, safety and socio-economic well-being of residents.
Also speaking, Chairman of the Ekiti State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Mr Adesua Anthony Omololu, said the governor’s visit and immediate commitment affirmed his administration’s dedication to inclusive development and improving living conditions across the state.
