The Biodun Oyebanji Campaign Council has called on all registered members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State to participate actively in the party’s presidential primaries scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026.
In a statement signed by the Director of Media and Communications, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the council urged members to turn out en masse to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing his performance in office and the interventions extended to Ekiti State under his administration.

The primaries will be conducted through the direct primary mode, allowing every registered party member to vote in their respective wards.
The council described the exercise as a vital democratic process that reflects the collective will of party members and strengthens internal democracy within the APC. It urged members to conduct themselves peacefully and orderly throughout the exercise.
Members were also advised to comply strictly with guidelines set by the party leadership to ensure a smooth, credible, and transparent process.
“The party remains committed to the ideals of democracy, unity, and peaceful conduct before, during, and after the exercise,” the statement read.
