Nigerian Army Releases DSSC 29/2026 Successful Candidates List

In a statement signed on Monday by the Military Secretary (Army), shortlisted candidates were directed to report for training at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI), Jaji, Kaduna State, by 9:00 a.m. on February 22, 2026.

The Army advised applicants to confirm their selection status through the official recruitment portal at recruitment.army.mil.ng.

According to the statement, the publication of the list marks the commencement of the next phase of the selection process for qualified candidates.

Those shortlisted are required to appear before the Selection Board with specific items, including writing materials and four copies each of recent coloured passport and full-size photographs taken in a suit.

Details such as surname, first name, other names, date of birth, service number and current unit — for serving personnel — must be written at the back of the full-size photographs.

Candidates are also expected to present scratch cards for online verification of WAEC and/or NECO results.

In addition, they are to bring personal items such as plain white vests, blue shorts, canvas shoes or trainers, white socks, toiletries, cutlery and bedding materials including blankets and mosquito nets.

The Army warned that strict compliance with the outlined requirements is mandatory, stressing that failure to adhere to the instructions may lead to disqualification.

The release of the DSSC list signals progress in strengthening the nation’s officer corps, while adherence to the outlined guidelines will ensure a smooth and transparent selection process.
