Hon. Sulaiman Yahaya Dinya, the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Maigana Constituency in the 2027 general elections, has reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment through education and sustainable human capital development.
Hon. Dinya, on Wednesday, October 8, 2026, sponsored young constituents from Maigana to travel abroad for further studies under his scholarship scheme.
The beneficiaries emerged from the scholarship programme organised by the candidate on July 11, 2026.
According to Hon. Dinya, the initiative is aimed at creating opportunities for young people to acquire quality education, develop relevant skills and prepare to contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities.
Speaking on the intervention in Maigana, Kaduna State, he said investment in education remains the most sustainable investment in the future.
“Today, 8th October 2026, I had the privilege of sponsoring some of our boys abroad to further their education, and this is the direct outcome of the scholarship programme we held on 11th July 2026. We made it possible, and we remain fully dedicated to bringing more human capital development to the good people of Maigana Constituency and Soba Local Government as a whole,” he said.
He noted that the beneficiaries will have the opportunity to pursue further studies and gain valuable knowledge and exposure that will aid their personal development and future professional endeavours.
Hon. Dinya stressed the need to equip young people with the knowledge and skills required to participate effectively in the socio-economic development of Maigana Constituency and Soba Local Government Area.
He reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that expand educational opportunities and promote human capital development across the constituency.
The sponsorship forms part of his ongoing educational empowerment efforts and broader public-service engagement ahead of the 2027 Maigana Constituency election.
