Less than a month after the incident involving veteran Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, on an Ibom Air flight, another case of an unruly passenger has surfaced, this time aboard Enugu State government-owned airline, Enugu Air.
Although owned by the state, Enugu Air is currently operated by XeJet due to the absence of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

In videos circulating on social media platform X, an unidentified male passenger was seen being dragged off the tarmac by airport personnel after he was deplaned. The officials later released him to allow for dialogue.
The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with many users calling for stricter enforcement of aviation regulations to deter unruly conduct by passengers.
One user, Truth Be Told, wrote: “This Enugu Air drama is just another example of why Nigerian airlines need stricter rules, not more leniency. Instead of whisking passengers away quietly, they should be publicly held accountable to deter future incidents.”
Another user, Your Dad, commented: “What’s this new trend? Tomorrow we will hear Boko Haram blew up a plane.”
Also reacting, Taking Higher Grounds said: “FAAN officials should devise better ways to handle situations. It’s becoming embarrassing. Passengers should also comply with instructions. This is unwarranted.”
Efforts to confirm the incident from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) proved unsuccessful, as calls to the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr Michael Achimugu, were not answered.
