The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has said that the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released soon after the conclusion of post-examination checks and standard procedures.
This was disclosed on Tuesday morning via the Board’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, where JAMB called for patience among candidates.

“2025 UTME results to be released as soon as all post examination analyses and other procedures are completed. Candidates are enjoined to be patient please,” the statement read.
Although no specific date was announced, the Board assured the public that the delay is to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the results. It added that all necessary checks — including biometric verification, detection of malpractice, and integrity reviews — must be completed before results are released.
JAMB also urged candidates who sat for the 2025 UTME to remain calm and avoid relying on rumours or unofficial sources. It advised them to stay updated through the Board’s official website and social media platforms.
The UTME is a major requirement for gaining admission into tertiary institutions across the country, and thousands of candidates are currently awaiting their results.
