According to Chart Masters, a platform specializing in music analytics, Wizkid generates a remarkable $1 million monthly from the streaming platform. This achievement places him at the pinnacle of African artists on Spotify.
The recently released list of Africa’s top ten Spotify earners highlights the dominance of Nigerian musicians on the global stage. Wizkid leads the rankings, with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy earning $782,148 per month in second place, followed by Tems, who earns $660,210. South African singer Tyla is the only non-Nigerian in the top ten, ranking fourth with $607,804 in monthly earnings.
