We Won’t Tolerate Further Killings In Ekiti — Rep. Akinlayo Kolawole 

The recent killings in Ekiti especially Ado Ekiti, the State Capital in the last one month is unacceptable, barbaric and cruel.

Hon. Kolawole gave the observation in a release made available to newsmen over the recent ugly development in the State.

The Politician described such killings in recent times as uncouth, heinous, uncalled for and disheartening, hence the need for all security Agencies to work together as a team to form a formidable body to put an end to such an ugly development in the state. “There is the need for urgent holistic measures to arrest the situation before it could lead to unexpected uproar”.

Therefore, it is high time the security Agencies in the state came together to work out a more professional modality at putting an immediate halt to the latest uncivilised killings across the state for the people to have confidence in them.

The murder of some promising and versatile young men and Women in recent times in Ekiti state was unfortunate, appalling and untoward, therefore, the police and other relevant security agencies must work together at bringing the Culprits to book to serve as a deterrent to others.

The APC Chieftain commiserated with the immediate family of the Victims of such dastardly act, Ekiti people, government and pray God to console everyone over the loss.

Hon. Kolawole who represents Moba, Ido/Osi and Ilejemeje LGAs at the National Assembly urged the people of the state to always be their brothers’ Keepers and at thesame time to be more security conscious especially during the latest development and beyond.

He also advised the Residents to always assist the Government and security Agents on useful and timely information whenever they notice unusual Visitors or movement around their environment.
