The Ekiti State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) will on Saturday host the Founder and General Overseer of Holy Trinity Authority Prophetic Church, Ado Ekiti,Prophet James Olatunji Omitade at it’s Media interactive session tagged “SWAN ROUNDTABLE”
The programme which affords Sports journalists the privilege to have an interface with the cleric who recently provided private sponsorship for a young basketball player named Taiwo Daramola.
The man of God had fully funded the American trip of the Ijan Ekiti born rising basketball player in pursuance of his sports and academic careers.
SWAN in a statement said the gesture to invite Prophet Omitade to the Roundtable was in acknowledgment of his passion and commitment to Youth development through Sports.
Prophet Omitade is known for his rare Charity programmes for the less privileged including prison inmates through the Charity Group of the church.
The media interaction will hold on Saturday October 7 by 9am at the SWAN office, Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti.
Members of SWAN in Ekiti from all media houses the State are expected to be in attendance.
The SWAN ROUNDTABLE is designed to spotlight remarkable activities and happenings in Ekiti Sports sector.
