A call has gone to the staff of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti to use the Easter period to pray for peace and progress of Ekiti State and the Hospital in particular.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Prof. Kayode Olabanji made the call while congratulating EKSUTH Community for yet another Easter Celebration which symbolizes a sense of joy, commitment and new beginning.
He likened the work of medical personnel to the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to save mankind, saying showing empathy and saving lives is paramount to
human existence.
The CMD, who appreciated the tenacity of staff at delivering quality Health Services to the people, urged them not to relent.
Statement by the Head, Corporate Affairs Department, Rolake Adewumi reveals that Prof. Olabanji in the Spirit of the season also commended the support and the commitment of the State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji to make EKSUTH the best among the committee of Teaching Hospitals with the provision and upgrade of facilities.
He charged everyone to show greater diligence, commitment and dedication to duty in appreciation and recognition of the focus and numerous developmental works and activities of the Governor in all areas in the Institution.
The CMD prayed for peaceful Easter Celebration while advising everyone to take care of their health.
