The Leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (State Information Chapel) has presented a certificate of excellence to the Permanent Secretary, Ekiti State Ministry of Information, Mr Olusesan Alabi.
The Leadership of the Chapel led by the Caretaker Committee Chairman, Comrade Rotimi Feyisina said the Permanent Secretary was given the certificate based on his commitment to the Chapel, describing him as an astute administrator and a father figure.
The Permanent Secretary, who received in audience the leadership of the State Information Chapel appreciated the team for their thoughtfulness to have remembered him in their magnanimity to present him with a prestigious certificate of excellence.
Alabi charged Information Officers in the State to continue to ensure commitment in discharging their duties and as well justify the confidence reposed in them by the State Government who gave them the opportunity to serve.
He posited that Information Officers are professionals in propagating government activities through media channels and it is expected of them to advertise government event positively.
Olusesan Alabi also commended the Chapel for the uncommon cooperation he has always received from them since he came on board in August, 2023.
