Olabode Resumes Duty As Commissioner        … charges staff to be alive to their responsibilities

The  new Commissioner  for Local Government Affairs in Ekiti State, Chief Folorunso Olabode has stated that the Ministry will always reach out to the community people and  promised constant monitoring of the Local Government and LCDAS projects to ensure effective service’s delivery at the grassroots.

Chief Olabode who stated this at the maiden meeting with staff and management of the ministry in Ado Ekiti, charged them to key into the six cardinal agenda of Governor Biodun Abayomi oyebanji toward securing the future and ensured good governance in the state.

He noted that the Oyebanji administration has been working round the clock to make life better for the citizenry, especially during the recent removal of subsidy on petroleum products.

He thereby challenged all staff of the ministry to be alive to their responsibilities towards achieving the government mission of putting smiles on the faces of the masses.

Chief Olabode who hails from Iye-Ekiti in ileje meje  Local Government Area  of the state described his appointment as providence and thanked God as well as appreciated the Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi oyebanji for choosing him to serve in his cabinet.

Responding on behalf of other staff, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr Oluwadare Joshua, promised the support and cooperation of the staff to the government.
