The Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ajibade Sunday Owolabi, on Monday presented three motorcycles to security agencies in the council to boost their operational capacity.
The motorcycles were handed over at the LCDA Secretariat in Okemesi-Ekiti.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Ajibade explained that the initiative was aimed at improving surveillance and intelligence-gathering efforts to enhance the safety of lives and property in the area.
“This gesture is to support the security personnel in their duties, ensuring they have the necessary tools to carry out effective surveillance and intelligence work,” the chairman stated.
This latest donation follows a similar effort a few months ago when Hon. Ajibade provided four motorcycles to security agencies.
The chairman reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting security operations and fostering a safer environment for residents.
