The Founder, Yemi Oshe Foundation, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo, has commended the youths in Ekiti State for desisting from joining the nationwide protest which turned out to be something else in other parts of the country.
Commending the youths in a telephone conversation with newsmen, the renowned philanthropist noted that Ekiti people are generally known as honourable people which has been the watchword of the youths in the State as they dissociated themselves from the ongoing #endbadgovernment protest.
The statement reads, “I really commend all the youths in Ekiti for not being part of the protest. This is a testament to the fact that our youths are becoming more mature and civilized, knowing that with dialogue, every issue can be resolved.
“For this reason, I would like to use this opportunity to appeal to all our leaders to try as much as possible to listen to the yearnings of the masses and do something urgent to ameliorate the economic hardship in the land which was the basis of the protest”. Omotoyinbo concluded.
