A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ire-Ekiti in Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Engineer, Ayodeji Abe, has described the voters’ turn out in Ire-Ekiti during the Presidential and National Assembly elections as massive.

The Civil Engineer said he hopes that the Candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and National Assembly Candidates of the party in Ekiti North Senatorial District of the State declared winners at the end of the day.

Abe, who noted that everybody came out to perform their civic responsibility without being compelled said the election was so peaceful and explained that the electorate conducted themselves in a good manner. They understood the game and it all went well.

In terms of security, Engr. Abe noted that the state wasn’t  flooded with security personnel as was the case during the governorship election.

However, he said people of Ire-Ekiti were able to conduct themselves in a very responsible manner and that the security personnel were civil enough in the discharge their duties.
