The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reaffirmed that the registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which began on February 3, will end on March 8, 2025, with no plans for an extension.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, stated on Tuesday that the deadline had been clearly outlined in all advertisements and the official calendar for the 2025 UTME.
The board also disclosed that over 1.5 million candidates have successfully registered so far, aligning with its projections.
JAMB urged prospective candidates to register promptly, warning against last-minute rushes, as the registration timeline is fixed and any extension would disrupt subsequent processes, including examinations, results management, and admissions.
