It’s No Longer Business As Usually — Ekiti Amotekun Warns Criminals

The Amotekun Corps in Ekiti State have paraded the nooks and crannies of the State to create awareness about their readiness to make Ekiti free of  criminals and criminalities

The parade tagged “Show of Force” was carried out through a motorcade in partnership with Military and other security agencies.

Almost all the sixteen local governments of the state were captured by the troop in the course of the parade.

Addressing Journalists in Ado Ekiti,  commandant of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corp, Rtd Brig. Gen. Olu Adewa said the exercise is to send signal to criminals that it will not be business as usual.

Olu Adewa reaffirmed the readiness of the corps to flush out criminals from the state using both traditional and technological means.

Rtd General Adewa said that the outfit would continue to collaborate with other security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property of residence.

The Commandant who warned criminal minded people to stay away from the state, said that he was determined to ensure swift responses to distress calls by residents.

He called on Ekiti people to always supply credible information to the Corps to ensure a crime free environment.
