The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has described His Royal Majesty, Oba David Sunday Awe Akingbade 1, The Apeju of Ilupeju Ekiti as God chosen that’s heavenly endowed with leadership quality.

Comrade Ogunmilugba noted that Oba Akingbade’s ascention to the throne of his forefathers on 8th October, 2022 was prayers answered for the peace loving people of Ilupeju Ekiti.

While congratulating the monarch on his first year coronation anniversary, the Council bosss prayed God to continually strengthen the monarch both physically and spiritually, and that his reign will continue to bring progress and development to the community.

In a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital, the LCDA boss  stated that the monarch’s  intelligence, prompt attention to issues and good human relations are the hallmark of his great impacts in Ilupeju Ekiti.

Comrade Ogunmilugba added that Apeju’s reign in the last one year has not only promoted Ilupeju’s cultural heritage, but has further united all sons and daughters of the town, home and abroad for development. Saying, it’s evident in the peaceful manner the Monarch and Apeju- in – Council within  had resolved and installed all vacant Chieftaincy positions in the town to the admiration of all the subjects.

Applauding the unflinching support of the Monarch towards the peace and development of Ifeloju LCDA, the  Chairman therefore prayed God to grant him sound health, Solomon’s wisdom and long life to successfully achieve his dreams for the town.
