The Media Team of a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ekiti South Constituency 1 in Abuja, Honourable Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo (AVM Rtd), has debunked the malicious rumour making the rounds that he, Hon Ojuawo has the intention of contesting for governor.
The utterly false speculation suggests that Hon Ojuawo harbours a governorship ambition in Ekiti State, which is a fabrication concocted by unscrupulous individuals hell-bent on spreading misinformation and sowing discord.
Statement by the Ojuawo Media Team reveals that, in a recent engagement with APC Public Relations Officer in the State, Segun Dipe, Hon Ojuawo, who unequivocally denied the rumour, attributed it to the desperate machination of political adversaries.
According to Ojuawo, ‘I have no iota of thought for such an ambition. My unwavering focus is on supporting Governor Biodun Oyebanji (BAO) for a second term as he is doing exceptionally well. I am fully committed to his re-election campaign and will even lead the campaign in my constituency soon.
“We urge the public to disregard such false rumour and speculation which are nothing but a futile attempt to distract them from the laudable achievements of Governor Oyebanji’s administration.
“Hon Ojuawo remains steadfast in his commitment to the progress of Ekiti State and unwavering in his support for Governor Oyebanji’s administration. This statement serves as a beacon of truth, putting to rest any misconceptions or misinformation.
