Members of Staff and Students of Ilejemeje Community High School Iye,-Ekiti, have been advised to cultivate the habit of giving back to the society that moulds them, particularly when they have attained a level of greatness.

The Permanent Secretary, Teaching Service Commission Mr Michael Omolayo, gave the advice at the Commissioning ceremony of Signposts Project donated to the school by the 2022 Best Teacher in Ekiti, Mrs. Mary Imaobong-Kupolati in Iye Ekiti.

Mr Omolayo who described the event as note worthy, appreciated the donor for such a brilliant initiative to give back to the Community where she’s presently working and for deeming it fit to present such a remarkable project at the needed time.

While unveiling the signposts project, the PS likened the donor to the ten lepers in the Bible where only one came back with gratitude, proving that the teacher is a woman of God to have such insight and for giving such token as memorial for the school to be remembered by all.

He stressed that it’s indeed a lesson for all about the reward of hard work noting that she has put herself in the limelight by distinguishing herself in the service to humanity.

The PS wished the donor higher feats at national and
international levels in future, with a charge to her not to relent in the discharge of her duties and responsibilities to the society.

Omolayo, hammered on the expectation of government at recording the best of results in external rxaminations that would justify its huge investment in the education sector.

In his remark, His Royal Highness, the Oniye of Iye Ekiti, Oba Jonathan Adeleye-Oni, said he was delighted in such a gigantic initiative of the donor, by contributing her quota to the development of the school, calling on other beneficiaries of government patronages to emulate the
good deed of Mrs Imaobong-Kupolati.

He noted that the project is the first of its kind in the history of the Community, which will go a long way by imprinting the name of the donor in the sand of time in the community.

Earlier, the donor of the special Signpost project who was
also the 2022 Best Secondary School Teacher in Ekiti State,
Chief Mrs Mary Imaobong- Kupolati said, she was motivated to donate  the project to the school as her own little way of adding value to her place of work.

While appreciating God and the State government for the opportunity, Mrs Imaobong-Kupolati advised everyone present to think positively at all times at making the society worthwhile.

She therefore appealed to all well-meaning individual and
groups to imbibe the spirit of giving each time the opportunity is opened.

The Teacher promised not to relent in her determination to impact positively into the lives of the people and the society.
