FIRST ANNIVERSARY: Foundation Set To Empower Youths In Ekiti

As part of the activities put in place to mark the anniversary, the Foundation will be launching Ekiti Skills enhancement and employment readiness scheme on Thursday, 9th January, 2025 at Ileraloro Cooperative Hall, Behind Keystone Bank, Along New Iyin-Road, Ado-Ekiti, at 10:00 a.m prompt.

In the course of the programme, some selected unemployed youths in the State will be trained on how to write a very good Curriculum Vitae, and the best way of attempting job interviews that would make them employable.

According to the organizer, “the training among others include; CV and interview packaging, internship with companies, Volunteerism and Mentoring”.

Adding that immediately after the training, the CVs of all the participants would be collected and posted on different job websites to enable them secure jobs within two or three months.

While calling on the unemployed youths in the State to take a very good advantage of the programme, the Foundation noted that if the training could be holding on regular basis, at least one thousand unemployed youths in Ekiti would be taken off the streets as they would be undoubtedly employed.
