Ekiti State Police Command Conducts Environmental Sanitation  … Calls for enhanced Police-Community Relations 

The exercise which was simultaneously held at the six Area Commands across the State, was aimed at creating healthier living environments and promoting Police-Community relations.

Speaking during the exercise, the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police appreciated the Inspector-General of Police, IGP KAYODE ADEOLU EGBETOKUN, PhD, NPM, for this incredible initiative, while highlighting some of the importance of environmental sanitation which include the prevention of the spread of diseases, enhancement of the quality of life for individuals and communities, mitigation of the impact of climate change, amongst others.

The CP equally thanked the Officers who took part in the exercise while calling on citizens to be law abiding, continue to support and cooperate with the Police even during and after the National Police Day event in order to ensure a safer and healthier society.
