‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ will break record, make N5bn – Funke Akindele

In a viral video featuring some cast members of the movie, Akindele shared her ambitious projection. “We are making N5 billion this year,” she declared, signaling high expectations for the film’s commercial success.

If the movie meets this target, it will surpass the record set by Akindele’s previous blockbuster, A Tribe Called Judah, which was the first Nigerian film to gross N1 billion.

The highly anticipated Everybody Loves Jenifa premiered on Sunday night in Lagos, drawing a star-studded crowd. Among the attendees was actress Eniola Badmus, a former close associate of Akindele, whose appearance fueled speculation about their estranged relationship.

As the release date approaches, fans and industry stakeholders alike are eager to see if Everybody Loves Jenifa will redefine box office history in Nigeria.
