EKSUTH  Offers Free Treatment To Malnourished Children

The recruitment of children who are suffering from acute malnutrition is ongoing at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.

In a release, Head, Corporate Affairs Dept of the hospital, Mrs Rolake Adewumi, quotes the Chief Medical Director, Professor Kayode Olabanji advising that  children to be recruited are aged between six and fifty nine months.

According to the release, the children will be given free treatment with sponsored Ready-To-Use Therapautic food. Malnourished children within Ado Ekiti and its environs are expected to benefit from the free treatment.

The CMD therefore appealed to parents to bring their children and wards with acute malnutrition to the hospital to benefit from the quality medical treatment.

Prof. Olabanji stressed that medical personnel are on ground to attend to the children immediately at the Children Emergency Unit of the Hospital.
