BOOK LAUNCH: Chairman Afriyub Innovation Seeks Govt Approval of New Mathematics Book

Abiola, who is also the Founder, Haybee Luvly Initiative addressed the press after the programme which was held in Ado-Ekti, the capital city of Ekiti State, 

He said he would be glad to have the approval of the state government for the usage of the book in secondary schools.

Earlier in his opening address on Thursday during the launch of the book, he revealed that he was inspired to write the book after an analysis of students’ failure in mathematics, coupled with his passion and interest in education 

“Simplified Basic Mathematics With Relevant Literatures For Secondary Schools”, he said, in March 2023, after taking an in depth examination on the analysis of students’ failure in mathematics, and with his passion and interest in education, that he decided to embark on the journey of the book. He explained.

Our correspondent gathered that Haybee Luvly Initiative in conjunction with Afriyub innovation and Leadership Foundation organised the book launch.

On his part, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of African International Youth Hub, Innovation and Leadership Foundation, Amb. Adewumi Gold, said that the book will further strengthen the capacity of youths in the state. 

He  urged the state government to embrace the book and encourage youths who are making giant strides in the society to make good use of it.

“It is a book that is right in time for the country because at Afriyub, our movement is to impact the youths and make them to actualize their goals.

“We see this book as an initiative that will further strengthen the capacity of the youths and an average teenager that is maturing into youthful age.

“A book launch like this is a boost to Ekiti State government. I expect the government to embrace it and also encourage other youths that are eager to make impacts.”
