The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Delegated Legislation, Hon. Femi Bamisile, has rejoiced with Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his 57th Birthday, saying the governor’s knack for progressive politics is ramping up democratic dividends to the citizens and changing the face of governance in the state.
Bamisile, who is representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, said this in his congratulatory message to Governor Oyebanji on the occasion of his 5th birthday anniversary.
The Federal Lawmaker saluted Governor Oyebanji for acting like a true leader of the people, through his robust and invincible fraternity with all the strata of the society, particularly the poor and vulnerable.
The former Speaker, said Governor Oyebanji has etched his name in gold by his resolve to live and defend the poor through policies and programmes that touched the lives of the vulnerable population he initiated and executed to fight Poverty and neglect.
He expressed elation that Governor Oyebanji had succeeded in raising the stake of leadership to the extent that Ekiti masses now have unflagging trust and confidence in leadership, thereby wiping out the era of mutual distrust and hatred.
Bamisile posited that Ekiti people won’t forget how Governor Oyebanji redirected governance and make it people-centric, saying the progressive family members are now raising their heads in pride and boasting that they represent the true proponents of development.
“Today, as he clocks 57, I rejoice with his Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, a man whose antecedents as a politician, family man and community person speak volume of his character as a honest, kind, meek and honourable leader.
“At both state and national pedestals, Governor Oyebanji has brought pride to Ekiti. With him in the saddle of governance, Ekiti has become a microcosm of development, investment and centre of excellence among the comity of states in the country.
“I pray that the good Lord shall continue to abide with his Excellency, grant his heart desires and take him to a glorious heigh to deliver more remarkably in his services to God and humanity”, Bamisile said.
