Agric Ministry Staff Told To Work Assiduously Towards Realizing Gov Oyebanji’s Targets On Food Security 

The Permanent Secretary gave the assurance while addressing workers at the new year prayer programme organized by the Ministry.

Alofe noted that all hands must  be on deck to collaborate with the State Government in her quest to  guarantee that food security  and   ensure that  agribusiness thrives in the State  

He commended the State Government for clearing thousands of hectares of land.for youths, communities and cooperatives to farm as well as the recent steps taken to tackle post harvest losses among farmers.

Earlier, a clergy, Pastor Joseph Ogundana of the Christ Apostolic Church, Mountain of Prayer, Ado-Ekiti in his exhortation, charged workers to shun every habit that can hinder the progress of the State this year. 

He admonished them to embrace hard work, honesty and commitment in order to have a rewarding year.

Pastor Ogundana led the workers to pray for the State, the Ministry and individuals as well as the nation for a bumper harvests and favourable economy.

Staff of the Ministry who expressed excitement on returning to work after the Christmas and new year holidays, promised to exhibit great attitudes to work for a better Ekiti State.
