AbleGod Women Development Forum To Inaugurate 5000 National, States Executives

The AbleGod Women Development Forum is organising an award/inauguration of 5000 members of her national and state executives as well as fund-raising for empowerment on food security on Saturday, 4th November at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The event which is expected to start at 10:00am will have important dignitaries such as the National Chairman of the APC, H E. Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, the First lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu,  as special guests of honour, Executive Governors, Distinguished Senators, House of Rep members, Chief of staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the SGF, H.E. George Akume, DG, Women Development Centre Hajia Asabe Vilitas, DG, Amalgamated APC Support Groups, Dr. Nasir Ladan and a host of others as special guests at the event. 

Other invited dignitaries are influential leaders, community members, special guests who support the Forum’s mission in the 774 local government areas of the nation. 

The Forum’s primary goal is to foster the growth and development of women, enduring equal opportunities and brighter future for all women, knowing full well that when women thrive, the society benefits as a whole.

The event is being brought together to launch the initiative and also create awareness about the importance of women empowerment and food security in the nation.

The Forum has a well developed comprehensive programme that focuses on empowerment and food security to address the specific needs and challenges of its over 1.7 million members across the length and breadth of Nigeria.

The Director-General of the Forum, Ambassador Funmi Gafar told journalists at a press conference organised at the event’s Secretariat at Roses Regency Hotel, Abuja, that contributions made to the organisation would make the organisation to provide essential resources, create sustainable livelihood opportunities and promote education and skill development for their members Nationwide.

She states further that all the national, state and local government executives to be inaugurated would be part of the Road Walk on Thursday 2nd November, 2023 in Abuja.
