Fresh details have emerged on the next steps in the nationwide recruitment by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board as the list of shortlisted candidates is set to go public on December 1.
According to a statement issued by the board’s Secretary, Abdulmalik Jubril, applicants are expected to visit the official recruitment portal between December 1 and December 3 to confirm their shortlisting status.
Applicants who met the required performance benchmark have been shortlisted strictly on merit and will be able to log into the portal to choose their preferred screening venue and date.
Information from the News Agency of Nigeria shows that the recruitment covers several agencies including the CDCFIB, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Federal Fire Service, the Nigerian Correctional Service and the Nigeria Immigration Service.
Jubril also announced that the physical screening and document verification for successful applicants will run from December 8 to December 12, 2025 in all states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory.
Successful candidates are reminded that every official update about the recruitment will be issued only through the board’s portal, and any messages received by email or other sources should be ignored.
He further congratulated the shortlisted applicants and reaffirmed that the selection process strictly aligned with Federal Character requirements and the operational needs of the participating services.
