AFCON 2025: Morocco Approves Free Visas for Travelling Fans

CAF revealed the development in a statement published on its website on Friday, confirming that the policy is designed to ease entry for supporters whose countries ordinarily require visas to visit Morocco.

Supporters attending the championship, scheduled for 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, are expected to complete the process through the YALLA mobile application.

However, the football body clarified that both the Fan ID and the e visa are compulsory for access to stadiums and designated fan zones during the month long tournament.

According to the organisers, fans can apply for the Fan ID and e visa within the same platform on the YALLA app, a move intended to streamline travel clearance and match day logistics for local and international attendees.

Applications will require supporters to download YALLA on Google Play, the App Store, or through the official website before filling out the Fan ID form and, where applicable, the e visa section.

Once approved, visitors can proceed to purchase match tickets on CAF’s ticketing portal, as global demand for Africa’s flagship football event continues to rise ahead of kick off.
