The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 36.99 per cent of results from Saturday’s Anambra State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
Checks by Pinpoint News on the INEC website at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday indicated that out of the 5,718 polling units where voting was conducted, results from 2,116 units had been successfully uploaded to the portal.
INEC had earlier assured voters that results would be progressively collated and uploaded from polling units across all 21 local government areas of the state.
Election officials continued to collate votes at ward and LGA collation centres, while security agencies maintained a visible presence to ensure a peaceful process.
