A Member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1 in the House of Representatives, Hon. Rugus Adeniyi Ojuawo (AVM Rtd), has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his well-deserved consensus victory as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the 2026 governorship election.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Ojuawo described the consensus endorsement as “a resounding vote of confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s visionary and people-oriented leadership over the past three years.”
He noted that since assuming office, Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to inclusive governance, transparency, and sustainable development, qualities that have earned him the trust and admiration of the Ekiti people.
Hon. Ojuawo highlighted some of the administration’s landmark achievements, including the reduction of the state’s domestic debt, massive infrastructure renewal projects, the upgrading of hospitals, improved healthcare and education systems, as well as the prompt payment of workers’ salaries and pensions.
He added that these achievements reflect the Governor’s deep passion for the welfare of citizens and the progress of Ekiti State.
“Your Excellency’s consensus victory is not just a political milestone but a testament to the confidence of our people in your capacity to continue leading Ekiti toward greater heights,” Ojuawo stated.
He further reaffirmed his unwavering support for the Governor’s developmental vision, expressing optimism that the next phase of the BAO administration would consolidate the solid foundations already laid.
