The Professor who is the Nigeria and Africa Head of Business Actions on Functional Education, Food Security, Economic Growth and Strong Institutions, stated this on Sunday during a virtual press conference organized by the State Controller of the Association for Formidable Educational Development AFED, Pastor Samson Ibitoye, ahead of the two-day workshop slated for 30th and 31st October, 2025.

In his word, “our flagship programme in Nigeria which is the strategic knowledge based advancement programme is designed to strengthen the quality and functionality of education of youth and children passing through schools in Nigeria and other less developed countries of the world, most of which are in Africa to be able to compete favourably with their peers in other countries of the world by equipping them with cutting edge industrial capabilities for exploiting and transforming raw materials resources available in their countries”.

According to him, the programme is sub- national workshop for school administrators and private school owners which is linked to one of the twenty-three areas of needs of the education system addressed by the programme. Adding that the workshop will equally serve as a formal flag off of the programme in Ekiti State .

Stressing that those who manage schools as unit of education systems must come to a common understanding that every school is a unit of education system, and must embrace the shared ideology of ensuring that education of youth and children in schools is tailored to perfection of the expertise.

Professor Clerk Brandon remarked that the programme which would gulp Five Hundred and Two Billion Dollars would run for a period of twenty five years.

“We want the students to be able to create solutions for each of different areas of needs of education systems that needs to be addressed to the effect that they would strengthen and elevate the quality and functionality of a knowledge system in Nigeria to match the countries that have already achieved prosperity. The idea behind this is that development is driven by people”  He added.

Brain Wealth Project is committed to ensuring functional education in our schools by helping them to achieve the best standard that is obtainable in other parts of the world. While AFED is a national association formed in 1999 and became operational in Ekiti State three years ago. The Association is committed to bringing values, saddled with the responsibility of touching lives .

AFED and Brain Wealth have collaborated for Nigerian students to be able to turn raw materials to finished products saying that the workshop would afford them the opportunity of having a discussion on how to ensure that the knowledge system in Nigeria is tailored to and effectively meets the knowledge and skills need for driving real economic prosperity beyond preparing students for passing exams and getting credentials.

He further explained that life in Nigeria is as good and beautiful as life in the best country like Europe, Asia and North America where  people could prosper equally, where everyone is empowered with the capabilities to fulfil dreams and live happily by effectively equipping successive generations of children and youth in Nigeria and throughout the world with cutting edge industrial capabilities for sustainably exploiting the resources at hand, and transforming  the resources into products, services and Infrastructure that meet needs of their countries, respond to global demands,  creates jobs, generate wealth and lift people from poverty to prosperity.

“We need to drive the country forward, in effect creating all the services,  all the products we need to keep the country going and to rise from poverty to prosperity as a nation”.  Professor Clerk Brandon explained.

The AFED State Controller, Pastor Samson Ibitoye however, appreciated the NUJ Chairman and all other journalists in attendance saying that  partnering the media for proper dissemination of every information about the programme is the best thing to do at the moment.
