A Frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Mrs Ogun Funmilayo Theresa(OFT), has rejoiced with the National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Debo Ologunagba, on the occasion of his birthday.
The former commissioner for Works, said the PDP Spokesperson’s unbridled loyalty and irrepressible spirit have placed him on the favourable edge as a core party person, whose contributions would forever remain indelible in annals of political history.

The ex-PDP State Secretary, famously known as OFT, said this in her congratulatory message to the PDP NWC member, through a statement signed by her Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Oladimeji Olayinka on Friday.
Saluting Ologunagba for his steely consistency with the party, Funmi Ogun, said his role as a vociferous member of the opposition has served as an elixir against dictatorship and misrule by the ruling party.
Funmi Ogun noted that Ologunagba’s abrasive nature, pungent criticism of the ruling party and avowed interest to expose evils, have reshaped and redefined the country’s politics.
She added that the party and the entire Nigerians who value sacrifice and commitment to democratic excellence would continually appreciate the PDP Publicist for his role in rescuing the nation from the stranglehold and claws of those she described as imperialists holding the country by jugular.
“Let me on behalf of my family and teeming supporters across Ekiti State congratulate Mr Debo Ologunagba on the occasion of his birthday.
“The PDP Spokesperson by conduct, deeds and comportment, has proven to be a reliable Nigerian by his consistent trajectory of party politics that is heavily anchored on character, integrity, honesty and honour.
‘Debo Ologunagba was never a typical Nigerian politician, who dives so easily for any carrot, no matter how enticing, neither does he like to drink from the poisoned chalice by constantly changing political association and parties to suit his pocket.
“By his well calculated statements being issued, he had succeeded in building a democratic system that accommodates opposition taking its pride of place and reining in the ruling party, who tends to become imperialist and gravitating towards making Nigeria a one-party State.
“I join his family and other well wishers in felicitating him on this auspicious occasion and wish him more fruitful years ahead as we sojourn together on this path of making Nigeria great through a democratic process we all desire”, Funmi Ogun stated.
