A community leader and chieftain of the all Progressives Congress in Oye Local Government of Ekiti State, Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo has urged Ekiti people particularly APC members to support governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to run for 2nd term in office in order to consolidate on the gains of democracy and build on the current developments of the state which has started since his assumptions of office in October, 2022.
Speaking with journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital, Chief Oguntoyinbo, the Obalodo of Oye-Ekiti, said going by the current ovations and endorsements by all stakeholders in Ekiti state such as labour unions, articians, professional bodies, associations, Political parties, former governors and their deputies, former and serving national and state assembly members, women groups, market women, students body, political appointees, civil servants including traditional rulers, shows that Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji is still the preferred choice of Ekiti people .
The former NOA boss in Ekiti State noted that if Oyebanji can be voted for across the three Senatorial District in Ekiti State for the second term in office, that the current tempo of developments in various sectors will be sustained, adding that the political future of the State will be secured for governorship ticket to rotate to the south senatorial District in 2030.
Chief Oguntoyinbo who is the chairman of Ekiti State Environmental Protection Agency said, this is the first time in the history of Ekiti State that inclusive governance is being run by a governor who has humility, integrity, honesty, generiousity and dignity to rule the state.
The Obalodo of Oye kingdom, who was the former chairman of Oye Local government therefore called on the good of the State, who have foresight to continue to drum support for Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to run the affairs of the state for another 4 years term.
