FULL LIST: Six Asian Countries Where Nigerians Can Get Visas for Less Than ₦100,000

Here are six Asian countries where visa fees are below ₦100,000:

  1. Japan
    As of April 2024, Japan’s visa fee stood at ₦12,500. Applications must be submitted in person at the Embassy of Japan in Abuja by appointment, booked at least 15 working days before travel. Required documents include a valid passport, a completed application form, a recent passport photograph, flight booking, hotel reservation, and proof of financial capability. Parents or guardians may book appointments for minors, but applicants must appear in person.
  2. South Korea
    A single-entry visa to South Korea costs ₦60,000 for stays of up to 90 days, while visits exceeding that duration cost ₦90,000. Applicants must submit a valid passport, application form, photograph, bank statements, confirmed flight booking, hotel reservation, and a copy of a National ID, driver’s licence, or voter’s card. Processing takes 10–15 business days.
  3. Vietnam
    Nigerians travelling to Vietnam must hold a passport valid for at least six months with two blank pages. A single-entry visa costs $25 (₦37,500), including for children under 14. Required documents include a valid passport and completed application form.
  4. Singapore
    The Singapore visa carries a non-refundable processing fee of $30 (₦45,000), payable online by card. Applicants must submit a valid passport with at least six months’ validity and two blank pages, a completed visa form, passport-sized photographs, proof of sufficient funds, and a travel itinerary with confirmed flight and hotel reservations. Processing takes about three working days.
  5. Thailand
    A single-entry tourist e-visa for Thailand costs ₦65,000. Applicants must provide a valid passport, completed form, photograph, return ticket, hotel booking or host’s address, police clearance, and drug clearance certificates. Proof of sufficient funds and a confirmed travel booking are also required. Applications should be made 4–6 weeks before the travel date.
  6. Sri Lanka
    Nigerian passport holders can apply for a double-entry tourist visa valid for 30 days at a fee of $50 (₦75,000). Required documents include a valid passport, passport photograph, bank statement, and detailed travel itinerary. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
