How Tinubu Picked Odion, 35-year-old for FCCPC Top Jobs

In a statement on Wednesday, Presidential Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, said Odion was nominated as Executive Commissioner, Operations, while Rabiu will serve as Executive Commissioner, Corporate Services.

He explained that the nominations are in line with the provisions of the FCCPC Act, 2018, and subject to Senate approval.

Odion, an indigene of Edo State, is a seasoned journalist and former Senior Technical Assistant to ex-Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Media. He also served as Commissioner for Information in Edo State. He holds two Master’s degrees – in Modern War Studies from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom, and in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos.

Rabiu, 35, from Kano State, is the founder of the Usir Foundation, a non-profit organisation focused on empowering disadvantaged individuals and communities through education, skills training, and humanitarian projects.

A grassroots politician, she is known for her advocacy on inclusive governance and for promoting youth and women’s participation in politics. She holds a degree in Business Administration.
