The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Council urged all candidates who participated in the examination to check their results via its official online portal: http://www.waecdirect.org.
To guide candidates on how to check their results without difficulty, WAEC outlined the following simple steps:
- Visit the WAEC result checking portal at http://www.waecdirect.org.
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
This number is a combination of your 7-digit centre number and your 3-digit candidate number (e.g., 4123456789).
Candidates who sat for exams before 1999 should input their 8-digit exam number (5-digit centre number + 3-digit candidate number, e.g., 19865001).
- Enter the 4-digit year of examination (e.g., 2025).
- Select your examination type (e.g., School Candidate Result).
- Input your e-PIN Voucher Number.
- Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) found on the e-PIN voucher.
- Click “Submit” and wait for your result to be displayed on the screen.
WAEC advised candidates to ensure all details are correctly entered to avoid errors or access denial. The Council also encouraged students to reach out to its support platforms for assistance in case of technical issues.
Candidates can print their result page after viewing, which may be used for admission and other academic purposes.
