A political support group in Ekiti State, Oyebanji Street Vanguards (OSV), has mobilised residents across the state in support of the second term endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The group said the endorsement, which holds today in Ado-Ekiti, is a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence in the leadership of both men at the national and state levels.
In a statement issued by the convener of the group, HC Adebayo, OSV welcomed all sons and daughters of Ekiti both at home and in the diaspora to the event, describing it as a moment of unity for all progressives in the state.
Adebayo noted that the achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji have laid a solid foundation for continuity, urging residents to show their support by participating in the street-to-street celebration planned across the state.
The group also used the opportunity to welcome new members who recently joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) from other political parties, assuring them of inclusion and equal opportunity.
He further urged party members and supporters to conduct themselves peacefully and uphold the values of love, tolerance, and commitment to development that the Oyebanji-led administration promotes across Ekiti State.
