Oyebanji Extols Performance Of Ado Central LCDA Boss        … As He Inaugurates Projects To  Mark Hundred Days In Office

Performance of the Chairman of Ado Central Local Council Development Area,LCDA, Hon. Toyin Ojo has been adjudged to be extra-ordinary in terms of  projects put in place to uplift the people’s wellbeing.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaja Abibat Adubiaro made the remark while inaugurating the projects executed by the chairman, Hon. Ojo to mark his one hundred days in office.

He enjoined local governments to justify their  closeness to the grassroots by executing  projects that will improve  their lives, and go all out to seek ways of generating revenue that will keep them going, while their morale should equally not be demoralized.

Oyebanji said the State Government will always ensure that the importance of the third tier of government is recognized.  He stressed the need for the chairmen to strive as they can  deliver dividends of democracy to people.

Chairman, Ado Central council,LCDA, Hon.Toyin Ojo said he was able to record such achievements within the short time because of the support and commitment of his staff. He advised  the staff to remain loyal and discharge their duties with more dedication in the interest of the council and the people they serve.

The projects executed  include thirteen lock up shops at local council development area secretariat premises, five water fetching points at Arowa community, Erekasan, Ado-Ekiti, construction of hall named after Her Excellency Dr (Mrs)Olayemi Oyebanli, ten solar street light at the local council development area premises,ten lock up shops at Bisi market,grading of roads within the local council development area, provision of ten water fetching points at Oke-Oniya and many others.

The event featured the conferment of awards on some indigenes and non-indigenes of the state who made marks in diverse areas of life, including Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Julius Ajayi,popularly known as ‘Little by Little’.

Goodwill messages came from Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe who was represented, and a host of others.
