NUJ Fin.Sec, Lawrence Ibitoye,  Four Others Bag Global Icon Awards      … As MikeTV Studio Takes Off At Ilupeju-Ekiti

Mr. Ibitoye stated this on Sunday when he was presented an award of recognition during the launch of MikeTV Studio in Ilupeju-Ekiti.

The Ekiti NUJ Fin.Sec, who loves supporting the good ambitions of the youths of the town, said he would not hesitate giving the necessary support to the CEO of the Studio by offering professional advice and also connect him with people both within and outside the town for patronage. 

In his word,  “With the presence of MikeTV Studio in Ilupeju-Ekiti,  those who thought good things cannot come out of the town will begin to see that what can be done by both the people in Ado-Ekiti, the capital and Lagos can now be done in Ilupeju-Ekiti even with a better result without having to bring anybody from outside. 

While dedicating the award to God Almighty and the entire people of Ilupeju-Ekiti,  Ibitoye assured  the owner of the MikeTV that himself with the leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists in the State,  particularly the online media Chapel would rally him for positive turn around. 

In his remark,  the Chief Executive Officer of  MikeTV Studio, Prince Michael Babatunde Adeoba Obameto, explained that MikeTV  which started few years ago, relocated to Ilupeju-Ekiti sometimes in 2023.

According to him, with the help of Almighty God and some people who he described as Mike Pillars, “we have been operating successfully”.

Highlighting some of the gadgets needed for the Studio to function optimally which include; Drone Camera, Shooting Cameras, Laptop, Computers, Printer and Generator among others, he called for support of the award recipients and other well-to-do individual members of the society to come to his aid saying whatever assistance given to him would go a long way. 

Other awardees which include the DPO, Ilupeju-Ekiti, SP Ofanson Vincent, Barr. Olayinka Opaleke, Legal Aid Council, Ekiti State, CEO, Ugo Ventures, Mr. Akinola Olajuwon, and Engr. Oluwadare Omodudu. a philanthropist of note, in their responses, all promised their continued support for the  CEO of the newly launched Studio. 

In separate interviews, a retired Vice Principal, Mr. Osagwu Jude Michael, a Veteran photographer, Princess Olubukola Deborah Adeyemi and Alhaji Rasaki Olayemi Amusa, having described the CEO as a very nice man, commended his initiative as they all prayed that God would continue to prosper him with much accomplishments in life. Adding that  they were highly impressed with the development.

The event had in attendance friends and well wishers of the awardees which include; Chairman, Online Media Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Ayodele Abere, Chairman, PRO Communications, Alhaji Amusa, Mr Niyi Ogundana of Ilupeju Magistrate Court, Ilupeju Ekiti, and police officers among others.
