2027: Diaspora Group Rallies Support for Ekiti Assembly Member, Babatunde

In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Mr. Oluwatoyin Ajewole, from Malaysia and made available to newsmen, the group congratulated Hon. Babatunde on his preparations for a second term, describing the move as a positive consolidation for development in Ekiti State.

According to ETAG, Babatunde’s second term bid is a well-deserved reward for his outstanding performance and people-oriented legislation during his first term.

The group said the lawmaker has redefined representation in Ekiti through inclusive policies, infrastructural renewal, youth empowerment and commitment to transparency and accountability, which have restored public confidence in the legislature.

ETAG declared its total support for the re-election of Hon. Babatunde, whom it described as a needed partner in progress for the development of Ekiti State.

The diaspora group described Hon. Babatunde as a diligent, loyal and result-driven legislator whose synergy with the executive arm has facilitated rapid development in Ise/Orun Constituency and Ekiti State at large.

It noted that the continuity of the partnership between Governor Biodun Oyebanji and Hon. Babatunde will accelerate legislative support for the administration’s shared prosperity agenda and ensure that dividends of democracy reach the grassroots.

The group urged all Ekiti indigenes at home and in the diaspora to continue to support the Oyebanji-led administration and to rally behind Hon. Babatunde’s re-election bid, stating that both leaders represent stability, progress and purposeful leadership.

ETAG concluded by praying for wisdom, good health and a more impactful second term for Governor Oyebanji and greater legislative success for Hon. Babatunde.
