The Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission (EKSIEC), has announced the recruitment of qualified ad-hoc staff for the forthcoming Local Government election in the state.
The Commission listed the available positions to include Presiding Officers, Poll Clerks and Poll Orderlies, with specific academic qualifications required for each category.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Justice Cornelius Akintayo (Rtd), dated October 12, 2026, interested candidates for the position of Presiding Officers must be holders of B.Sc, B.A, B.Ed or HND.
For the positions of Poll Clerks and Poll Orderlies, the statement added that applicants must possess SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or its equivalent.
The Commission directed interested candidates to apply in writing to the Electoral Officers in their Local Government Council or Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of choice.
It further stated that the application must contain the applicant’s phone number, home address, position applied for, passport photograph, photocopy of credentials and relevant promotion letters where applicable.
