The anniversary, held from August 24 to 26, 2026, featured an alumni assembly, career talk, debate and quiz competitions, medical outreach and an anniversary lecture delivered by Prof. Ebenezer Adu of the Department of Educational Foundations and Management, Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology (BOUESTI), Ikere-Ekiti.
A major highlight of the celebration was the presentation of awards to eminent personalities who have contributed to the development of the school. The foundation-laying ceremony for a block of six classrooms, performed by the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Stephen Adeoye Aribasoye, was another key moment of the event.
The alumni association also elected new officers to pilot its affairs for the next three years. Mr. Tope Smart, Chief Executive Officer of NEM Insurance Plc., emerged as Global President, while Evang. Alonge Samuel, a chartered accountant, was elected General Secretary.
Dignitaries at the event included the Olomuo of Omuo-Ekiti, HRM Oba Noah Adejuwon Omonigbehin, and the Elekota of Kota-Ekiti, HRM Oba Emmanuel Olukayode Ojo Fagbemi, alongside chiefs and other prominent community leaders.
The golden jubilee, according to the organisers, celebrated five decades of educational impact and reaffirmed the alumni’s commitment to the sustained growth and development of their alma mater.
