The people of Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo (Enone) Federal Constituency have expressed appreciation to Hon. Chief Dr. Philip Agbese, Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives, for his commitment to public service and representation of the constituency at the National Assembly.
In a statement issued on behalf of the constituents and signed by The Good People of Enone Federal Constituency, the people noted that representation goes beyond occupying a legislative seat.

“Representation is a responsibility that extends beyond occupying a legislative seat. It requires the ability to listen to constituents, articulate their concerns, maintain meaningful engagement with communities and pursue opportunities capable of improving the lives of the people,” the statement said.
According to the constituents, it is within this broader understanding of representation that they acknowledge Dr. Agbese’s efforts and public service since assuming legislative responsibilities.
They observed that his role has provided Enone with a visible voice within the National Assembly, adding that as Deputy Spokesman, he carries the additional responsibility of contributing to public communication on the activities and proceedings of the House.
The constituents stated that effective representation should remain connected to the everyday aspirations of farmers, youths, students, traders, women, professionals and communities across the three local government areas that make up Enone.
It is against this background, they said, that they are advocating for continuity in quality representation.
The statement clarified that continuity should not be seen merely as the retention of an individual in office, but as the preservation of useful experience, consolidation of ongoing engagements, strengthening of constituency relationships and creation of greater opportunities to deliver on development aspirations.
“Every representative encounters challenges, and no single tenure can address every need of a diverse federal constituency. What matters is the willingness to learn, remain accountable, engage the people and continue building on what has already been established,” the constituents added.
They appreciated Dr. Agbese for the responsibilities he has undertaken on behalf of the constituency and emphasized the importance of sustained, people-oriented representation.
“As Enone looks toward the future, the message is one of service, continuity and greater responsibility. The people desire representation that remains accessible, responsive and firmly connected to the aspirations of the constituency,” the statement added.
The constituents therefore encouraged Dr. Agbese to remain committed to the ideals of responsible leadership and to continue placing the interests and development of Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo at the centre of his public service.
